Avesta Capital Markets Day 2026: Bringing Together Uzbekistan's Capital Markets Community
On June 18, Avesta Investment Group brought together representatives of international financial institutions, investment firms, banks, issuers, and market experts to discuss the key trends and future development of Uzbekistan's capital markets. The event featured two panel discussions focused on Debt and Equity Capital Markets.
The Debt Capital Markets session featured Sadjida Tashpulatova (IFC), Marianna Pomazkova (Xtellus Europe), Muhiddin Jumagaldiyev (UzMRC), and Akbarkhon Ibrokhimov (SQB), who shared perspectives on local bond market development, capital raising opportunities, and the role of financial institutions in expanding access to financing.
The Equity Capital Markets session brought together Ketevan Toidze (Galt & Taggart), Tamara Kakulia (Ipoteka Bank), Marius Dan (Templeton Global Investments), and Eldan Usubakunov (Highland Capital) to discuss IPO readiness, attracting international investors, and lessons from regional markets.
